In principle, access to the information available on or via the website of the House of European History does not require any personal data to be supplied by the user.

Personal information is collected only when citizens, professionals and organisations voluntarily wish to be informed on how to get to the House of European History, or informed on the House of European History events, visits and exhibitions, or who have subscribed for the HEH press releases.

The personal information collected for such purposes will be treated in accordance with the policy described in Regulation (EC) N° 2018/1725.

The House of European History will collect and process the personal information only for the purposes and to the extent necessary to reach the objectives for which they were transmitted by the data subjects. It will not be reused for a purpose incompatible with the original purpose.

The House of European History’s website sets cookies solely in order to enable or enhance functions or improve the navigation experience for the user. Under no circumstances does Parliament use cookies to collect, process, disseminate or record personal data.
